KD is a lifelong horse lover with a deep-rooted concern for the environment. Her equestrian journey began in Shropshire at a local riding school when she was 8 years old. At 13, KD was fortunate to ride a show jumping pony owned by a nearby farming family, allowing her to compete in affiliated showjumping competitions, attend Pony Club, and help on the farm. Her passion for animal welfare and environmental issues emerged around the age of 11, when she was horrified by the clubbing of seals for their fur, sparking her ongoing involvement in environmental campaigning. KD’s dual passions have guided her life and career as an equestrian coach.
